have you been noticing coolant leakage on the ground???
definitately a coolant leak somewhere... either the oil cooler or the water pump.
unless of course your radiator/coolant was frozen b/c of incorrect water:antifreeze ratios

UPDATE
No coolant leak, the coolant tank level is just where it should be, I did a scan with the Vag-Com and got no fault codes. Still no heat. What next...fuse, and check the blower?

From inside the car, I can't hear anything. When my wife gets home from work today with the car, I'll check the actual fan and see if it's running. When I increase the fan speed on the control module, nothing happens.

Your fan is shot
If you can't hear and feel the air blowing from the outlets when the fan speed bars are are lit up, there is something wrong with the fan.
Most likely the armature and brushes are worn untill they lose contact.
Replacement time, chech Audi pages or search this list, the procedure is described.
It's not hard, just tedious.
