Make sure you get the down pipe with it. It is different than the cast DP

Getting the heat shields is a plus as well. Note that if you have a California car you will have an interference with some smog piping.

The early qs are stamped steel and the later ones are cast steel. The early ones had a 2 bolt ball

and cast have a 3 bolt joint. I'm not sure if there are any other (CA bush and dimensional)differences.

Fuel pump and or fuel pump relay?

Listen for the pump under the back DS seat. Remove the back seat and make sure you are getting 12v at the pump plug. If the FPR is bad it cuts electrical to the injectors so it will just crank and...

I have had one in my 90 for about 3 years. No problems at all. It's a bit generic

meaning you get extra holes to fill/plug but once you get that figured out I've had no issues.

Wrong on the 15/25 years. The RS2 is on a never importable list at DOT

It will be importable to Canada when it hits 15 years old.

Motorgeek has an active tread on this that has the link to the DOT list.

Because he knows he can make twice the money parting it as opposed to selling it whole

and IIRC European rules are very different as to what constitutes a totaled car and what it would take to return it to legal status.

I have 215/40's on 37ets on my 90 (summers only) and I get a bit of rubbing at full lock

and a light bump - typically backing out of a driveway. During normal running it's never beer an issue. I would prefer going to a 45 though as I have smacked the rims pretty hard a few times.

Did you get slider repair kits?

I wouldn't pull the calipers off without doing them as well.

I tried re-building the rears on mine and gave up. I couldn't source the seals for the e-brake

I just bought rebuilds for $70 each from Autozone. They work great and have a warranty if they ever crap out.

Only liable if they were hauling ice. If it was incidental or a build up from the road, not their

issue. It's like someone wanting you to pay for their windshield froma piece of ice that fell of your ski rack.

What shape is the braided wire from solenoid to starter in?

Mine went from easy start to no start when that wire rotted through. When I put it on the bench it worked fine but just because I smashed the braid back together.
