Head bolt removal tool for AEB engine....

Anyone know where I can get one of these. Dealer doesnt have it.... Anyone in arizona that has it and can possibly let me borrow it. I can pay for your time. Im dieing to get this head gasket job...

So my previous post stated that there was a thick substance in my cooling system, After 3 days of flushing the system it started to look more like motor oil.... I'm putting my money on the oil...

Help! Brown sludge in coolant resevoir???(1.8t)

Need help bad..
Went to drive car this morning and the coolant light came on, so went to check the coolant and was greeted by a brown sludge inside the coolant resevoir..

Anyone have any idea...

i have the same exact problem with my 1.8t
figured it was mounts as well and so i took it to my mechanic to have him take a look at everything and he said it wasn't the mounts and it was nothing to...

is it normal for my 1.8t engine to sound so loud at high rpms?
its so loud that its i guess you could say almost whiny? its auto btw

mysterious oil leak still occuring!!!!

I recently have replaced the valve cover gasket and the PCV valve trying to stop this oil leak. The weird thing is that it has slowed down. Its leaking by the passenger front wheel well dripping down...

'98 A4 1.8T Mystery Oil Leak..

I had posted a week or so ago about a sudden oil leak in my car, checked everything that everyone suggested..

So basically after jacking up the car, what I'm seeing is the downpipe is getting wet...

So basically after jacking up the car, what I'm seeing is the downpipe is getting wet from the joint to the turbo... AND the heat shield on the right side of the downpipe is covered with fresh oil....

Sudden Bad Oil Leak??

Oils almost bone dry, just checked it and the whole bottom of the car is soaked in oil. Oil pan is dry and not leaking from oil filter. Check the pictures, I'm out of ideas on whats wrong, can anyone...

yeah see my are usually the same 3 lights but they flash so quickly i cant make out what they are..weird.

Instrument cluster random lights

anyone have a problem with random lights blinking and flashing in their instrument cluster? happens usually when going over bumps or something like that, but also just at random times..
