Okay thats progress, but "a DS place in FL off Ebay" is a bit vague. DS = Drop Ship? and Florida is a big state and no part number (2580-60) for that on ebay is listed.

Is there ANYONE who can provide a working part number for a new center support bearing for the driveshaft of my 1990 audi V8? Or, is that now a Voo-Doo part to even ask about?

I just did a full timing belt service (3.6), lots of front suspension work, fuel pump and starter at 284,000 (automatic) and new tires, readying this one for the next 100K. I am going to drive it...

What is the switch on the back of the block, passenger side, underneath the distributor cap that is prone to leaking, and does anyone have a replacement part number for that?

3214 Tool

Several years ago I purchased the 3214 tool...and the factory cam and crank lock tools for the timing belt job. Your right the right tool makes it best.

Went Bosch

I went with the Bosch 69419 which has the same connections. Shokan wanted $167 for a used one and I bought a new one for $183.00 with 2 day shipping.

Anybody done a fuel pump on one of these cars (1990)? Anyone use the Airtex pump which looks like the OE? I have a Seimens replacement and it doesn't look right at all! The electrical connectors...

I hit a deer last week, it didn't do much damge to the car but it did break the passenger side blinker lens. It also broke the plastic tabs on the bucket the keeps the passenger side headlamp mounted...

OK, I swapped the sensor wires...nothing! That made the fuel pump relay click on and off rapidly while cranking the engine also.

I will double check the passegnger coil again, and see if I can get...

-The drivers side read 7.23 (multimeter's OHM set to 20K 7.23 = 7230)
