Tried swapping the crank sensor connectors? Maybe they got mixed up when installing your new sensors?

While I'd definatly check the connectors on the RPM/Reference sensors first, the only thing you KNOW is that one coil tested bad.....You can still have spark, but if it's weak/off whatever, it's meaningless. The fact that you sprayed fluid and got nothing says you have a spark issue. RPM/Reference swap could be it. Not sure if that would give you that bad coil test, but if swapping the sensor connectors doesn't do anything, then I'd lean toward that bad coil before you do anything else....Tom

OK, I swapped the sensor wires...nothing! That made the fuel pump relay click on and off rapidly while cranking the engine also.

I will double check the passegnger coil again, and see if I can get one of those.

I feel complelled to do a compression test and a fuel pump test too.

I put a jumper wire across the back of the fuel pump relay, that didn't help with anything either.

So, it appears to be a dead coil, and or a dead fuel pump. BUT, IF IT WAS A DEAD FUEL PUMP AND NOT A COIL, WHEN i SPRAYED CARB CLEANER IN THERE...IT SHOULD HAVE STARTED.

I will take all these fact under advisement.

Thanks!

Rein

just replace that obviously bad coil and go from there. You must repair the obvious before continuing on.

OK, I had a neighbor help me with some tests on the following, with these results:

1.) Fuel Pump (not tested for pressure): "operative"
2.) Coil Test (OHM - set to 20K): Passenger Side: 6.64 (6640), Drivers Side: 6.67 (6670) - That is following the Pin 1 & 4 manual guidelines.

So, if my OHM meter is working properly...the coils are both testing correctly?

IN SUMMARY:

-I have fuel (removed pressure side - and it pumped fuel - did not read pressure).

-The plugs are wet.

-We are getting spark through wires to cylinders.

-We have new sensors (tested prior to replacement - tested replacements)

-All fuels injectors are active (by sound - stethoscope)

-Replaced passenger side coil wire to distributor.

-Replaced passenger side distributor cap (new)

-O2 Sensor is new within half year (sitting now 3 months)

-Last Code reading generated: 4444, 1111.

I will compression test all cylinders next (cold) - probably Thursday.

Frustrating!

Thanks for your patience and input everyone!
