Latest KBB on my 2000 with 115k miles...$12-14k...anyone want a good car?

The mileage didn't kill the price as much as I thought - 78k mileage showed between $15-16k. I would have figured that depreciation would have been more mileage based.

Looking for something...

AWE site has comparison - a little difference - but price is steep

They have flow and temperature drop comparison between stock, RS4, and AWE. The real gain is between RS4/AWE and stock.

Problem is the RS4 can be found on ebay for $700. Doesn't have the...

I recall the codes were fuel issues as opposed to simple low readings. That's why I wonder if the failure mechanism is different -...

CEL went off two days ago - reseting via battery unhook didn't work.

Got the shareware version of VAG (old lap top died long ago and lost the original software codes) to find out what fault code. ...

Another into the 100k club - extended warranty is up -

Brought the car in with 99,960 miles to Miramar Audi. Ended up paying $500 for $3,000 worth of work. Nothing major - just trying to get everything out of the warranty.

Stress is a function of configuration, not material type, P=F/A...

The cast has a higher yield strength at the location because the steel (iron/carbon) "crystals" are able to align themselves with the hole. Also, the drilling process probably causes micro cracking...

Oil is coming from somewhere - problem that bad won't go away on its own

Check the PCV spider at the back of the engine. Its corrugated black plastic. See if its full of oil.

Do the pressure test - check everything

Remember, the entire block gets presurized when boosting, so if a beather is blocked - you've got 10psi pushing oil out the path of least resistance.

Agreed - very nice looking

There was a nice write up on them in a C&amp;D or Automobile a few months ago.

There pretty hard to find too since they don't take to cheap tuning very well.

Supras are robust enough the handle...

Although there was a stretch when Toyota was giving them away for $10k off that price - if only I had the money then.

The RX-7 has the same issues as the S4 plus is not near as practical - only 2...
