or the radiator fan switch on the radiator , I would replace them both since your already there. make sure the fans run on low and high. if that doesn't fix the problem then its a short in the wiring.

I would flush the system first, the master is a 2 hour job and not that expensive. also look at the lines make sure theres not a vacuum leak.
if is anything other than that then replace the slave...
