Sticking with my forecast from a few days ago...

Could be slightly less city and south with some sleet/freezing rain.

Next week should be very interesting- chance of two major storms and a shot at 0 degrees in central park by Friday.

Snow Saturday looks good...

solid 3-6" with I-80 being the axis of the heaviest snow. Could see a pop to 8 inches here or there.

Storm 1/3 complete...next one on track for Sunday

I'm happy with the way the forecast turned out for today's storm. Saw about 9" or so at my house in NW Jersey- high elevation. 3-6 inches seemed to be the average across the tri-state.

Weekend storm still looks good. Current track is slightly inland which would mean less snow for LI and NYC, but there's plenty of time for adjustment.

Models are showing a classic nor-easter for Sunday into Monday. Still a week away so could end up being all rain or nothing, but here is what the GFS model shows for snow on the ground at midnight...
