Default a nasty wreck............if you look closely through front passanger window.......

you can see the face of the victim, as he is still in the car.

I am surprised that the pole did not shear off at the base. Still, why was he driving so fast? Got to be a story behind this accident. I wouldn't be surprised if the driver had a bad argument with someone just prior to the wreck.

Default I saw a very close call last night, right in front of me in South Boston

The guy in front of me was just cruising along and all of a sudden I see the car jerk to the right to avoid a cabbie blowing a stop sign and then left to avoid a row of parked cars. I still can't figure out how no one hit anything. It was pretty scary and freaked me out enough to pull over too. Passenger (girl) wasn't wearing a seatbelt and got TOSSED around the car.

This just shows you two things... no matter how good of a driver you are you have to always have a third eye out for the idiots and most importantly always, ALWAYS wear your seat belt.

Default Looks like procon-ten did its job. Too bad that doesn't help if you aren't wearing your seatbelt.

It probably would have saved his life.

Default very sad esp for the child. :-( by the looks of the car, he must have been doing top speed

for the pole to have gone so far into the car, through the engine compartment...... :-(

Default Very sad.........this may have been a suicide..........

he was doing very high speed, no seat belt, clear day visibility, couldn't see any skid marks, hits the pole almost square. So sad, why subject your kid to this?? The guy had to be nuts.
