Thanks, goodbye, and I still love Jeff Bipes!
It was a bittersweet day yesterday. I finally had to say goodbye to my beloved 2001 TT Roadster. With my two kids going to the same school, I needed a backseat.
I still wanted a small convertible, so I got a Lexus SC430. I know y'all think that car is a pig, and I agree that it is certainly not a sports car like the TT. But it is comfy and has a backseat. I did give the TT a kiss and shed a tear when I left it behind.
Thank to everyone over the years who helped me when I had questions. This forum was great with advice and the like.
My #1 disappointment was that I never convinced Jeff Bipes to dump his wife and run off with me. As he can tell you, it sure wasn't for lack of trying over the years. Jeff, you tell Mrs. Bipes that she is one lucky woman.
