Replaced that harness and it didn't require anything major as I recall....Might have been for a different year though... If your parts guy can't find it just do the plugs and rewire as old school mentioned..

seen it before. Dealers will usually want to replace the whole harness (Big $$$) to cover their a**. They may be hesitant to splice in new wiring. Some Audi techs will do it and others wont. Your best bet is to find an independent to splice in new wiring to get rid of the cracked insulation.

this is a note from Carlo Vogelsang re: how he did his wiring harness - I don't know if the harness p/n would be the same for your engine code. You need to find out.
