Default Test

What the **** was I thinking when I cut the subfloor? I was thinking that I wanted to use a whole 48" piece next to this one and was going to put little bridges between joists for support, but once the plumbing went in (after the floor and hole was cut) it wasn't going to fit......

Phone for scale, it's 1 1/8" thick!

Here's the plumbing that went in, I thought I was going to get two more bridges across so I could put a 48" piece to the left, which has the radiant floor heating passages....

Once it was in, I could see it flexing.....so what did I do? I biscuit joined the piece next to it using a size 20 with 8 biscuits, clamped it, then screwed it down with subfloor cement below it....

Tom (Cousingranpa on audiworld) did all the plubming, he stubbed the water, and ran all the vent and drain....note the "Chicago" vent that is from the vanity, up into the ceiling and back down again.....

Last week when we replaced all the old galvinized with copper and a new water heater, we broke into the main stack and put no hub couplings for the new drain.....

Now I can put the subfloor down and frame it out!

The inside shower dimensions are going to be 48" x 38".....what a bitch it was to calculate!

Default Looks like you don't like the easy way. Every time you work on a house,

the floor is gone. Give me a call if you need a hand.
