Don't like OEM phone/nav speaker
Just installed Parrot BT systems in both my wife's Jetta and my allroad. Her car doesn't have the phone speaker in the door pillar so the sound comes from the front door speakers, which sounds great. Mine uses the phone speaker, which sounds like crap.
How do I get the sound to come out of the door speakers as well? Hard to do with Bose Symphony I?

Supposedly there is a way to change the settings via VAG COM...
...to code the car without the telephone speaker...but I was never able to get that to work in my previous car (which had the Symphony I and the B-pillar speaker).

You could try this...
not sure if you ahve the Symphony or Symphony II, but looks like all you have to do is change one of the digits to show "no passive speakers"
Check out these links (choose the correct model radio), and scroll down to the coding table at the end:

<a href="http://www.ibiblio.org/tkan/audi/radios/symphony2.html">Symphony II programming</a>
I tried this in my 2001 2.7T using the "0" as the 3rd digit, and it did not work, but woth trying out in your car anyway!
