the front sits 25 1/8th and the rear is 25 5/8th. Is this normal? just needing to know if theres a problem. Also, how do you remove the rear shock? is ther anything inside the car i have to loosen?

yes that's normal...(m)
to remove the rear shocks, you'll need to remove the bolt thru the lower endlink and the two at the top. The ones at the top are only accessable after the wheel liner has been cut (easy way) or removed. Then once removed from teh car you can remove the shock from the bumpstop and dust jacket
