The General Mgr, Brendan Harrington in fact, has the Stasis suspension on his A4 3.2. They gave me the royal tour of the whole facility.

They are still working that out with AoA and Stasis. I told them about other mfrs. warranties
for factory or dealer installed goodies, while recogninzing that short of racing numbers being visible or a valve protruding through the hood, should still be valid. Since he has Stasis suspension on his car, he seemed to be in agreement. Penske has been known to go beyond mfrs. warranties in the interest of happy customers and repeat business.

Let's hope they don't treat their Audi customers like they treat their MBZ customers.
I have horror stories from friends, relatives and coworkers that have purchased from them.

Hmmmm. My brother has worked for the Penske Group, mostly at Longo, (run by Greg Penske)
as well as the Penske Honda dealer in Ontario for close to 20 years now. Roger's #1 instruction to all staff is that every customer leaves with a smile, whether just a visit, sales or especially service. That is the key to his success, along with the idea that good contacts create potential return and additional business. In view of his growth rate, and the new exclusively Mercedes service center going up across the street (it is HUGE!)I'd have to take the horror stories with a grain of salt. Bad business people do not grow like that. Are your friends bad experiences related to service or sales? Hopefully they don't involve someone missing a shift and launching critical mechanical parts through the hood. :-) Back to the Audi store, I have never seen a more complete collection of diecasts at a dealer, and I am for sure going back to get an S-line A4 DTM tomorrow. The General Mgr. and Sales Mgr. and I spoke for nearly an hour. He wants to make sure that AoA recognizes any Stasis compnent they use. Of course, his interest is twofold, since he has their susp. kit on his A4 3.2.

No dealer is exempt from horror stories.
The incidents I'm familiar with occurred in '05. The worst incident took a threat of legal recourse to remedy. I'm not knocking Penske but we all know that we don't have the best Audi dealers with respect to service departments in SoCal. I'm hoping and I don't doubt that Penske Audi will change that. Penske + Audi should be a good and successful relationship and maybe one that other Audi dealers should emulate.

I agree with you there as to all dealers having occasional lapses in their PR skills.
I have been blessed so far to have had great experiences with Walter's, who now has even started to offer ACNA members discounts, which they previously did not. I believe, and hope, that the Penske image and competition will raise the bar for others.
