Just putting 18" rims on my car and insurance wants to put it's price up by £250, shall I not tell?

Default Just putting 18" rims on my car and insurance wants to put it's price up by £250, shall I not tell?

What happens if I don't tell them, I'm not worried about the alloys getting stolen and not being able to recover the costs as I keep the car in a garage most of the time and rarely drive it. Say if I have a crash then will they not pay out since the car has been modified from the original?

Sounds like you are in the UK - different set of laws than the US (Tort system does not exist here)
