More cruise control questions
My cruise control refuses to work in the rain. If it is dry it is fine. I remeber reading something about the vaccum pump getting wet. Could you guys refresh my memory and give me any tips on how to protect it from getting wet.

I remember on my 200q that when wet it wouldn't work
It's under the left front fender, make sure your belly pan is attached to the lower part of the front inner fender. I've seen many A8's with a ripped belly pan/inner fender.
You can take the fender off and take out the pump, or maybe you can get to it from inside the car.
Here's a picture of it that I took when I replaced my inner fender, this is looking forward from the wheel well with no inner fender on.
I would make sure that vacuum line is on there good too.
