Yeah, I've seen that car many times before @ Pfaff... sad that even though it's owned by....
original owner, he's never taken good care of it, or at least trat the rust before it spreads like cancer. The car was very rough 10 years ago when I used to see it regularly. I just wonder how it really looks like now underneath.
Owner told me if he doesn't get what he's asking he going to keep it. guess he'll end up keeping it.

Looking at the rust that *can* be seen..
Looking at the rust that *can* be seen, I wonder what it looks like in the inner fender area?
Maybe there is a reason I don't see any shots of the engine compartment?
I *know* how bad that inner fender area can get...!

What is even sadder; this is the car that was on the stand at the '83 Auto Show here in Toronto. And now all that it is good for is parts, can you imagine the cost of restoring a car in this condition....

guess you haven't seen my pile of Urq "rust". Runs nice, but needs some extensive sheet metal work, luckily though the front strut area is not affected.

Al: Anything to do with the coupe..?
Anything to do with the coupe that you had cut the whole driver's side off?
Was that to do with fixing your urq, or was that another project?
Me, I'm going to have to do something like your coupe cutup to deal with the 'lightweight' rocker panels on my urq..

Re: Al: Anything to do with the coupe..?
That was my plan, use the rockers and part of the floor, but after much closer examination, I'll probably just hand form the rockers since they're wider and flared.
I'll cut the floor section out that I need and just use that.
