The clearcoat just went on this past Thursday.
Seems as though the Brilliant White paint doesn't offer much "coverage" and there's like 6 coats of white beneath 2 clearcoats. I have cleaned, polished or painted all of the trim, and today he was sanding the clear with 1500. Another coat of clear will be going on tomorrow, if he can get the shop warm enough. Supposed to be like 18 degrees here for a high the next few days. Tough to get it past 65 in the shop that it's in! Still have to paint the bumpers and the valances. I had the bumper plug holes filled in, due to the fact the those things are NLA, so the front end should look pretty clean!

Re: Looks great. Is that at a body shop? Looks like an old booth.
Wow! Looks like you're moving forward with some HP according to your sig.
Yep, it's in a body shop, one man operation. Been there for 25 yers or so.

heh. wasn't sure if you'd remember me or not.
I bought my first computer to be chipped from you YEARS ago. haha. That was for the black car though. Now three 5000's, and countless dollars later I've got one that at least gets out of its own way. : )
Those one-man bodyshops are the best thing going. Virtually no overhead, so they aren't rushed and can take the time to do the extras.
...and hey! we should get another meet sometime this year once it warms up and your UR is done. Would be nice to see you all again.
