O.W. Kenobi Memorial Fund...
I have setup a memorial fund for Matt. I still have not been able to get a hold of his parents this morning. At this point, they are on their way to Seattle from Pittsburg.
This fund will be collected and then donated to his family. The intent is to ease their burden. I am also hoping to fund the Audi wreath at his funeral and a track event in his name or something similar. We will have a better idea of what we can do after some time has passed.
I am using a separate section of the Mirrorworks Paypal account to collect the fund. Any donations can be sent to:
jkim [at] mirrorworksdetail [dot] com
Thank you for your support. I will be posting as many updates as possible as I find out more information. I will personally make sure his parents have a copy of all your condolances and messages.
RIP, good friend.

You need to be careful with Paypal....
I heard of them shutting down similiar "funds" in the past and by shutting down I mean they locked up the money for a while while they made sure it was "legit".
Thank you for all your work on this Jake. I know you were closer to Matt than most of us.

Most banks will set them up for free. If you pick bank of america, wells, or WaMu
they have banks across the us, allowing people all over than nation to donate. with out paypal's issues.

Jake the guys are right, a seperate account not paypal would be best,
no fees, and no bs.. While sending in a check is not as easy as paypal, I don't think anyone would hesitate to spend the extra 10 minutes to send in the funds via another means.
