Just got bitch slapped by the CHP...Should I get a lawyer? Puts flamesuit on.
Ok well I want to keep this kind of short since I'm still kind of pissed about it.
So this nice red supra comes roaring up as I get onto the freeway. I see his license plate and it says MY450HP, and I figure in my stupid manly testosteroned head to see if he really has that much hp. So one thing led to another and it turned out he did have about 450hp =/. I pull up to the guy and give him a thumbs up, then next thing you know, flashing mofukin lights in the rear view. This guy was good, he was able to pull both of us over, bastard.
Anyways, he got me for 23109 (a) vc speed contest, and 26708 (a) vc tinted front windows.
approx speed 100+ (luckily no violation for that)
Both our cars are impounded and the d*ckhead says we wont be able to get them out for 30 days. That sounds like BS since the 23109 says min 1 day up to 30 days impound.
So with all of your opinions what do you think I should do? Get a lawyer? For what, I don't know. The tint violation seems like BS.

sorry to hear. get your car out of the impound ASAP. take the day off tomorrow or whenever it says you can and get it out. you might have to run around between the impound lot and the station a couple times. it's a total PITA.
as for your ticket...yeah time to get a lawyer. sia's got a good one, i'll forward you the info if he doesn't first.

Well, we weren't actually racing in that we were single file. We got our 2 misdemeanors reduced to
a speeding ticket because we were dealing with a real pig and the DA knew it. Actually it was the 2 year anniversary a couple days ago..my friend involved reminded me ;-)
So if you raced, and you're admitting to it here, not sure what you're going for... the 30 day impound's a bitch, definitely excessive.
