Default Well, it has been quite some time since I have last posted but I figured this was worth it...

Driving home last night around 11:15 I hit something on RT 91 north around Holyoke, MA. I never saw it, but I hit it so hard that my head hit the ceiling in the car. I would not be surprised if one or two of my wheels came off the ground from the impact. I was going about 75 and needless to say I got a flat. Well this morning I discovered this:

Watch for scale:

A few more:

I am very glad I have a set of 5 wheels so I do not have to run out and buy another, however, I do need another tire as this one has a huge tear in it. My spare is a Pilot Sport, so I need to find one asap. Does anyone know how badly shipping from tirerack is delayed due to the holiday season?

I'm glad to be ok and AAA was wonderful.

Have a safe and happy holiday.

Sorry to hear. Nice pics though; nice use of the cat for scale.

Default Yeouch! That's a mighty big impact - good thing all that happened was a flat!

It's probably worth checking the other wheel and your alignment after that.

Default Yes, I can tell my alignment is out of wack.

I need to get it checked out this week. I am off from work all week so I will have time to take care of it all.
