Default FinallyS4 Detail Review (BWW)

So I've been wanting to get my car detailed for a while now. I live in an apartment, don't have a garage/driveway and don't have anywhere to store all the products you need to do it right.

Enter the web 2.0 networking application known as AudiWorld.

I had a wedding to attend this past weekend, and wanted the car looking good for it. A couple people posted that they detail on the side, and FinallyS4 was the most convenient. (this says nothing of the others' skills!).

He did a phenomenal job and really took a lot of time going over all the things I asked. He washed and waxed, and had to claybar twice to get all the gunk off. There were some larger "city" related scrapes and scratches that I was fully aware were not coming off, they did however improve in appearance a ton by the time he was done.

As I said, he did exactly what I wanted, and even gave me a tutorial on all the different products and how exactly to claybar (I was wary after reading about scratched paint). He wiped down the engine bay and all the plastic in there looks brand new. And minimal dust/grime etc.

I was shocked at how much of a difference the detail made. I mean, I can gaurantee that the paint has never been clayed in 7 years. And the color completely pops now. It had really dulled!

Anyway, he did a fantastic job, and apparently is happy to detail on the side, so if you're in the market for some one to clean up your whip, I fully reccommend FinallyS4!! (ps, his B6 S4 is really hot... I don't normally like dark wheels, but his look great on the brighter blue Nogaro). Oh, and he took all of these pics before, during and after the wash!

On to the photos:
You can really see all the grit and grime in this photo (this is pre-wash).

Default Hit those Y pipe hoses (the greenish/black ones on top of the engine) with some WD-40

It'll make them black again :-)

Default Uhhh, did he polish out the light scratches that Clay leaves behind and top with a wax at least?

If not, you should wash again and at least wax the thing...

Default Clay doesn't leave scratches behind

Maybe what you see after claying are scratches that were there before, but didn't show because the car wasn't clean enough?
