Default Ken Bennett Update

For those who don't know, Ken Bennet of 2Bennett, the Cali tuning firm, was seriously injured at Watkins Glen during the Audi Club North America event last weekend.

Ken, who was already a paraplegic due to a mountain biking accident years earlier, crashed at high speed in his hand controlled Audi S4 GTR at the bus stop chicane.

Ken was transported to a local hospital, where he remains today. He was diagnosed with a broken neck (between C2 and C3) and lost control of his arms, breathing and ability to speak.

Andrew Bennett, Ken's brother, has asked me to tell everyone things are looking a bit better. Ken has been able to move his left arm slightly, and he seems to have full cognitive function. His neck has yet to be repaired, and he is on a ventilator that prevents him from speaking, so we are yet to know if he can speak. He has been communicating with his eyes so far, and seems to be doing pretty well.

Ken will be transfered to UC-Davis Med Center in the next 72 hours via a jet ambulance. Once there, Ken will have surgery to secure his neck and repair it as much as possible.

Ken had his last surgery (mountain bike accident) there and the Bennett family is confident that UC-Davis Med Center is the right place for Ken.

Those wishing to send any card, flowers, etc can send them to the 2Bennett shop care of Ken.

The address is:

2Bennett Audimotive
946 Olive Drive #1
Davis, CA 95616

The Bennett family wants to thank everyone for the outpouring of support and let everyone know how much they appreciate everyone who has taken the time to write, call, etc.

Please keep your thoughts and prayers for Ken frequent!

Default It will fix the bones, but only STEM CELL RESEARCH/THERAPY would fix his spinal column.

You can help my wife(c6/c7 incomplete), him and 11,000 others who suffer spinal injuries each year if you support stem cell research and funding. It's only the tip of the iceburg as stem cell therapy will help countless others with parkinsons, alzheimers, heart diesese and on and on and on. Call you senator!

Default but it's every post about this....i'm not sure that stem cell research/therapy will help anything

and the bennetts have the means to to do whatever it takes to help ken....if scr/t was an option, i'm sure they're exploring it....just stop jamming it down my throat, post after post, time after time....that's all i'm saying
