Default New sub enclosure for my B6 S4

<center><img src="http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d55/vbgsx/finished.jpg"></center><p>
Well I've been working on this for a few weeks now.
My original goal was to create a sub enclosure that:
1. sounded good
2. didn't use up space in the trunk
3. looked stock
4. could easily be hidden
5. can easily be put back to stock without damaging anything.

I think I accomplished my goals []

It was the first time I've ever worked with fiberglass but it wasn't as bad as I thought.
Just want to know what you guys think.
I also have a bunch of pic.s of the process I went through.

Default and another pic

<center><img src="http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d55/vbgsx/finished2.jpg"></center><p>I left the little tabs on the carpeting so I could put it back to stock if I wanted.
I may just color the tabs black so they blend more.

Looks great!
What internal volume were you able to squeeze in?

Looks so neat. Any concerns with cargo crashing into it (even with cover on)?

Default Believe it or not, there is a ton of room behind that panel. The sub I used....

W3 only needs 0.5. I forgot to measure it but it's about 1.0 cu ft. Definitely has more than enough room. I put it in my SUV with a Rockford 300 watt amp, to test it. The thing just pounded. I was amazed with it!

I ended up making two of them.....the one you see here and a mold so I could always make another. Just in case I messed this one up. I could always take pic of the mold to show you how much room I had.

Default Well I don't usually put anything back there....not yet at least. I may still do....

some tweeking but it looks like it would be fine with the cover up.
If I only have a couple items...suitcases etc...the cargo net should keep them secured from hitting anything.
I guess only time will tell.

Default Looks great! I want to do the exact same thing with my 10" Alpine Type-X this spring. The only

thing I want to do is remove the door itself while still being able to re-attach it if I so desire.

I'd really like to see the pics of the process and your mold!

Yeah, we've put DLS IRidium and ID MAX 10" in that location. The ID stuck out a bit...

The door easily comes off once you remove the panel.
