the new Pioneer AVIC-D3 seems do have everything... for $1000 (available in March 2007)
. 2 DVD discs (West+East) + 12 millions POI - Points Of Interest
. DVD video playback
. Satellite radio ready (XM or Sirius) with optional module
. MP3, WMA, iTunes ACC, DivX playback on CD or DVD
. AUX Input Front for Audio or Video
. Multicolor illumination to match your dashboard

lol... that's something I've heard many times here on AW, complaints about the non-red illumination
of aftermarket audio gear. I think Pioneer got it this time.

Not going to take issue with this, but looking to keep the budget under control.
I'm planning on getting some sort of GPS system (was thinking about a Garmin Nuvi) but for a bit more, this does the GPS thing, DVD, bluetooth integration, iPod connectivity, AND fits in the dash. Definitely something to consider...
