dash repair work done by dealer - see pics

I just picked up a 2002 S8 which is in mint condition. The only problem was that the previous owner had installed a cell phone on the dash and upon removal there was a small cut out for the wires and indents left from the bracket. The local Audi dealer told me they could repair the cut out (using their interior restoration company), so I had them do it. The pics show what they left me with for a $130. You can see where they "patched" the hole on the panel towards the bottom part of the seam. Also keep in mind that there was no discoloration of the dash panels before they completed the work.
Options...what would you tell the dealer??

Looks like a $30 patch, not a $130 repair ...
As for the discoloration, you may want to hit the pannles with some interior cleaner/conditioner to see if that helps. Even if that works, the patch job wasn't worth what they charged you. A GOOD repair will not be noticeable regardless of how close you look; even when you know where to look.

if thats their repair on an S car...i'd hate to see the quality on a lowly VW.
take it back, say "are you kidding me? A 3rd grader could do a better job with a F**King Sharpie" and have them order you ALL NEW TRIM PIECES. That is dispicable (sp?) I would skip any and all service techs and go straight to the service manager...if he cant do anything, raise hell higher up. This is not gonna be easy tho. Just be assertive and explain that owning and servicing a car like this is not average and "I do not expect BELOW AVERAGE work to be done on a flagship automobile such as this." And hey, if that doesn't work, you can always blindly sulley their name on the internet! Good luck and keep us posted on your saga.

My dash was similarly disfigured by a phone cradle.
I had a local upholstery shop repair it for about $100. It's not perfect, but you can't tell it's there unless you look for it.
That sucks! I'd tell them to try again until they get it right.

I'd put them on the defensive right away
by telling them they should have known better than to deliver the car to you with such a shoddy repair. Don't they do a pre-delivery inspection? And if they do, does this kind of work qualify as OK?

How much can those 3 pieces of plastic cost to replace?
If that's a "repair", perhaps just replacing them is in order. Tell the dealer you'll agree to pay for parts and they'll eat the labor cost.
