How to create Audi Connect sub when SIM has been activated
I'm trying to help my dad set up his new A8L. The dealer has already installed the T-Mobile SIM and activated it. I created an account for dad on Audi Connect, but when I enter the SIM number while creating a new subscription, I'm told the SUM has "already been activated".
How can I add a subscription? Do I have to wait until the trial period ends?
(Can't recall how I did this on my A6...)

It used to be through the T-Mobile website https://www.myconnectedservices.com/ but I see that is offline.
MyAudi redirects me to the old site, because it was setup before March 2014...
When I created mine I waited until after the trial so as not to pay for something that was already free.
Not sure what is going on here, but will keep looking.
Update: Got logged into myaudiconnect.com with my old myaudi credentials.
It's showing my MMI and Network status as inactive, possibly because the vehicle is asleep.
It's worrisome though since it shows mine expired on 2-April.... maybe due to the transition...
I did notice there is an extend subscription button on the bottom.
Does your SIM already show as connected to the VIN ?
The customer support number is (877) 505-AUDI (2834) Option 1, then 1 for non-A3

Check your subscriptions, folks
Update 2:
My subscription had expired for some reason.
The lady I spoke with this morning said she wasn't sure exactly why but it could have been due to the website transition.
Extended with a different credit card and will check the vehicle later.
Got to love Audi - taking calls and being so nice at 7AM on Easter Sunday.
She said they are available 7x24x365

I bought my A8 used and the prior owner had paid for Audi connect for 3 years in advance. I called the Audi Connect number on the Audi website and they had it switched over to me in a few minutes. Easy as pie.

Weird... I was told that they could not switch the account over and that Audi would need to send me out a new SIM, or I could get a new SIM from the Audi dealer if they had one. They also said that I COULD NOT get a card directly from T-Mobile.
