Default Grill pics for those who care =)

I finished it about 2 weeks ago, but havent had the time to take any pics. Anyhow. Here is a mini write up:

A few simple screws/nuts holding the grill in, pops right out.

Quattro sign is so faded I left it off after removing it from two clips on the plastic slat.

Dull Gray and worn out 'chrome'...

Next i popped out the silver rings, as I left those silver, but am still deciding whether or not to make em glossy black as well:

Sanded it down with 280grit, then again with 600-wet sanding.

Did probably about 12-15+ layers of BMW black, then about 15-20 layers of clear coat- i dont want this thing chipping =)

Nice, painting the grill slats "proper" black is also the first trim job for Merc 190 owners too (I know this from having had one).

Might try that myself.

Default Nice Job, However I would be weary of so much clear. You might end up with a spider web

If you put the coats on too fast. More isn't always better. But nice job none the less
