Default New grill, black with gunmetal rings.

Just finished this last night. I ordered up some OEM clear corners too; but I might have gotten screwed on that deal. It's been over 4 weeks and no package... I made a write up for the grill too, I'll load it up in a day or so. Short story is 3 coats of primer, 14 coats of truck bed liner, 3 more coats of primer, and a coat of satin.

I'll probably do the rear rings in gunmetal as well.

Default Your rear taillights look Euro. Are the headlights Euro or S4 or Euro S4?

I am guessing your car is a 94 based on the Nemo mirror but I can't see the left rear fender (aerial) to confirm.

Yeah it'll chip easier with that much paint.

Default At least plastic doesn't shrink and contract thru temp changes like metal does

that many coats on metal would not stand up for long.

Default The person who recomended using bed liner to me said he used 15-20 coats...

and it's held up better than anything else he's tried so far. It doesn't flake off, chip, or turn green

It probably isn't as thick as you think...

Scuffed all the chrome with a Dremal tool
3 coats of primer
4 coats of truck bed liner
sanded smooth
4 coats of truck bed liner

6 coats of truck bed liner

satin.

Lots of sanding to go along with all the paint!

Default I've got the full 5 piece euro A6 tail light assembly.

The headlights are S4 with euro lenses and yes, it's a 94; but I've got a special plan for that nemo mirror.
