I prefer the open dash layout of the B7
As a B7 owner I am obviosuly slightly biased. I am partial to the beltline trim piece that runs along the middle of the dash and flows into the front doors. I also prefer the four aluminum rings around the gauges to the new pear-shaped gauge cluster.
On the plus column for the B8, the nav screen is placed higher on the dash for a better line of sight. Rear seat vents and better placement of window switches on the driver's door are also improvements.

oh yeah, the B8 is pretty-much an improvement aesthetically and functionally everywhere, but I still feel good about my B7.
did anyone notice that silver panel that surrounds the gauges and gear shifter. I think it's the same silver painted plastic junk I've seen in the Q7 but unfortunately more of it. the only thing silver in an Audi should be real aluminum!

I like the look of those sport seats
I hope we get them available here, even as sold order only. As someone who frequently spends 7-8 hours in the car in one day, better seats are always a worthwhile investment.

That is true, I wish they could have figure a nicer way to get the NAV screen higher
I do like it being higher than the radio, but not sure if I really like the extra dash hump.
Don't get me wrong, I still like the B8 interior a lot, just like B7&6 a little better.
