The hUmpday Carlisle update: 46 Audis registered! May 18-20! Friday dinner info...
Last year I had a total of 44 cars registered by the time of the show...so we're doing great! I'm hoping we can hit 50.
May 18-20, Carlisle, PA Fairgrounds. Online registration is available at the link at the bottom of this post. $15 for you, your car and one guest all weekend. $15 for camping on site all weekend. <u>REGISTRATION PRICES INCREASE 19 DAYS BEFORE THE EVENT!</u> Therefore, THIS Sunday April 29 (4 days from now!) will be your last day to get the $15 registration fee. I believe it then goes up to $25 each. SO GET ON IT!!

I have a reservation for 50 at <a href="http://www.marketcrosspub.com/">the Market Cross pub</a> Friday night at 7pm. Seeing as we're going to have more than 50 people interested in going, I'm going to "open" registration on <u>May 2nd.</u> <b><font color="magenta">THE WAY YOU REGISTER FOR DINNER FRIDAY NIGHT IS TO EMAIL ME: morganevans@excite.com!</font></b> It will be a first come, first serve type of thing starting May 2nd. <b>So don't email me until May 2nd about dinner!</b> I feel like crap that people will be excluded, but this was the "fairest" way I could think of doing it.* Also, if you're bringing a wife/GF/friend/brother/etc email me "Me + one guest" so I know to save two spots. (*The pub is very small so even getting a reservation for 50 is a miracle because it's also college graduation weekend in the town, so there will be other families there. People not on my reservation list can try to attend, but I cannot guarantee seating in the bar, let alone near the group of 50!)
We will divvy up who's bringing what on the May 9th hUmpday report. In the mean time, PLEASE KEEP YOUR EYES PEELED FOR CHEAP GRILLS! Sorry to shout, but the Audi Trippin boys have brought their old girl for the last 3 years. I did find some for $25, but they were pretty small.
<b>STUFF:</b>
I ordered 50 credential holders. They're ghetto 3x4 squares, but hey, I was looking for cheap. If you still have your fun Audi ones from last year, feel free to bring them. Toyo is shipping me lanyards again...I'll let you know the color, etc when I get them.
Do you want a shirt? Designed by our own audisscott, they're available at cafepress! I got 2 shirts for me and 1 for Scott and they rock! <a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/4000/msgs/126791.phtml"> If you'd like to order a shirt click here!</a> <u>There will be none available at the show.</u>
<b>FUN:</b>
The ACNA MidAtlantic crew will be joining us. Dan Jackson told me "a couple" of them have registered, but he needs to bug them to remember! <a href="http://acna-mac-vam.blogspot.com/"> Click here for their vast FAQ list. </a> This also includes hotel listings in the area if camping is not your thing.
There will definitely be a lot of fun stuff to look at, including pretty <b>*RARE*</b> Audis that we have registered.
For those of you who don't think your car will be done on time...there's PLENTY of time to do that Friday! Get there and chances are, people will HELP you! (Poor Mikey...he's coming to Pittsburgh a few days early to help ME out! In exchange, I'm going to load him up on food, fun, and beer!)
