Default Do it!! I was wanting to try the same thing...

I also have a MkI Jetta in the yard and have held the flares up to my car. I was thinking of putting the fronts on the rear and vice versa. Blending them in with the big bumpers and the rocker panel covers and having them look right is going to be tricky IMO, especially the back of the front flare. I was thinking of matching to the rocker panel and trimming where the chrome is on the bumper cover, like how you have your back one shown.

I was also checking out a MkII Jetta at my local j-yard. The flares on it go down to the bottom of the rocker panels. They are taller overall. I should go back there and see what they want for 'em.

Default Eh, makes your wheel offset look really bad. If you do that I'd suggest wheel spacers

to fill the space you create w/the flares.

Default decent solution for limited tire sizes!

I bet some of the guys on MG would really dig your work. The 20vt swap guys seem to have some problems with lack of grip.

Default I'm thinking those are just some 13"ers with snows....

his picture poster shows one with stock 14"ers. It would probably look better with some 15x7s.

haha no those are 14's, i think they actually look bigger than the stock r8's... and i would love some wide rm's but.. my coupe loves a good blast through gravel and mud in the woods, so the more narrow, beefier 14's with a little more cushion is better
