Hey friends, used your site for years but this is my first post. Thanks for the help
The ladie's driving my 99 30V A6 TipT, it's minus 15 deg celcius, no warning as she is driving the engine decides it wants to rev at 4k's/min. As she slames the brakes the engine tries harder to keep the high revs.
When I arived to help, and started the engine it reved to 4000 in neutral but no higher. After a few choice words I smacked the pedal and alls fine.
Need help to get my two favourite girls back together. Any thoughts? by the way don't let 60 minutes get a hold of this.

Recall was done, whats next

Tell her if it happens again to shift to Neutral that way the engine will rev but it won't accelerate the vehicle.

I don't know what to tell you if the recall was done, but I'd be careful driving until it's fixed.
