Default Prices for Performance Upgrades

I just bought a 2003 A6 2.7T, and I've been reading about all of the upgrades available. I was wondering about how much the following cost:

1. having a GIAC-X installed by an authorized dealer;

2. getting downpipes installed;

3. the cost of a good intercooler;

4. the cost of a good air intake system;

5. the cost of good DVs.

I'd appreciate any tips on getting the best bang for my buck, as my wife will throw a fit if I put too much money into my A6.

Default That's a pretty big price disparity

What accounts for the difference in getting downpipes done for $600 vs. $1,300-- materials or labor costs? I live in the D.C. area. Does anybody know a good place to get them done around here?

Default that was a labor cost given to me by a local shop going on hours

needed to replace them in Nashville, TN.

SweetAudi is in FL, iirc.

That's NOT the cost of the downpipes, fyi.

Default FYI. #4 & #5 are a waste of money and time.

Stock airbox with holes in the bottom and 710N diverter valves are cheaper and at least as good. Oh and DIY.
