So what does everyone think of this idea to get some more air into the "positive pressure" area...
that is behind the head light for the air intake. (B4)
I used the drivers side I had laying around for this as I was just messing around and if it works out I will do it to a passenger side.
I plan on sanding it down smooth (rough cut) and then painting everything, mesh included, black (as car is black)

so what is everyone's 2 cents on this???

Bad idea! Air comes over the top of the front bumper like a wall of water at-speed which....

causes that area to get virtually zero additional air. 99.9+% of all the air inside the high pressure compartment behind the headlights comes in via the diffuser on passenger side of radiator inside hood grill on the B4. If you want more air in there then deflect more air behind the grill via a larger deflector. At 30-35MPH or less your idea "might" get some additional air in there but at that speed there's no need and it will just bleed off and enter the engine bay. At 50+MPH and higher the air deflecting off the top of the bumper is effectively blocking/deflecting air up and away from that area and over the top of the hood. I would worry more about that spot becoming negative pressure (vacuum) at high speed between the column of upward deflected air and headlight subsequently via venturi effect siphoning/scavenging air OUT of the high-pressure compartment behind the headlights where it's needed and taking it over the hood and top of car.
