New, dedicated MAF sensor cleaner
I know many of us have old MAF sensors. While I don't belive that cleaning the MAF will completely restore it, a cleaning may well extend useful life. I've already heard very good things about 'CRC Mass Air Flow Sensor Cleaner' that I have seen for ca $7 at Kragen. Someone saw it also at Pep Boys.

I've used electronic parts cleaner and brake cleaner
I got an extra 6 months life out of my MAF.
That CRC MAF cleaner is the first dedicated product that I'm aware of. Who knows, maybe it's just relabeled contact or brake cleaner. ;-)

anything with trichlorothane is the best you can do period. And INCREDIBLY hard to find any more.
But absolutely the fastest acting, zero residue fastest evaporating electronics cleaner there is or likely will EVER be again. Its what God uses ;-)
