service description
My original wheels are 18". A factory option were 19's, but I read an article that said Audi was worried because the service description (load capacity?) dropped from 99 to 96 w/ the 19's. I am considering 20's as I've seen them on some cars--but their service description is only 92. Newer cars run 19 or 20" wheels and all the tires have the same service # irrespective of manufacturer.
Is this something I should be concerned about?

I am referring to aftermarket wheels,
20 X 9
Offset: 30mm
Backspacing: 6.18"
As I said in my original post only 18's and 19's were available on the 2003 RS6. I bet most the cars I see w/ 20's are aftermarket.
Not sure what the new Euro RS6 rides on, but I'm sure it is more than 18".
All the tires for 20" rims carry a 92 service description, so I asked the question in my original post. If Audi hadn't made the comment on the lower service description of the 19's I wouldn't have noticed.
If any Audi owners use 20" wheels I would be interested in your opinions.

No response?
I can't say my question was adequately answered on this forum, so I cancelled my order for 20" wheels and tires.
It was an order from the Tire Rack for about $2,000. Sorry.
