I'm now part of the celebration "bend" club.
I'm aware of all the scuttle, and will contact a rep. However has anyone successfully attempted to have them repaired? I've got one with a minor bend and one that, in the technician's word, needs repair/replacement. I feel/felt no hop and/or any other indication I had/have bent rims?
My questions are...
1. at what point does a slight bend become something that needs to be resolved asap?
2. is it worth it to attempt to have a rim straightened?
3. if they attempt to straighten it could they do further damage leaving me with no option but a new rim that day?
and last...
4. has anyone successfully got AOA to bend on this yet?

Re: welcome to the club
One of my wife's wheels was bent and we had it repaired at Turbax. The wheel came back round, but Turbax re-finishes the entire wheel. This has me a little pissed me off, because the finish was not as good as when it went down to them for the repair of the bend. FYI. The cost was $129.00 for Turbax vs. $125.00 for Wheel Technologies, Inc. I would inquire as to whether the chosen company can simply fix the bend if the finish (front) of the wheel is flawless, as was the case with our wheel. Your call...
