Default Do any of these tires stand out over the others?

I am looking for an inexpensive summer tire that will see one track event and a few AutoX's. They will go on 18x8.5 SSR Comps in 235/40/18.

General Exclaim UHP
Sumitomo HTR Z II
Kumho ECSTA Supra 712
Kumho ECSTA SPT
BFGoodrich G-Force Sport

Any other suggestions?

Thanks!

Of those I like the ECSTA SPT and General UHP best.<ul><li><a href="http://www.tirerack.com/a.jsp?a=AR8&amp;url=/tires/index.jsp">Tires</a></li></ul>

Default Any other ideas in an inexpensive summer tire?

I just bought an old sportscar for my teenager. It has 15 inch aftermarket wheels on it, and with good rubber is a great handling car. So I'm looking for inexpensive performance tires in size 205/50/15. Handling and safety are the most important. Longevity, comfort and noise are less important.

I'd go with the Kumho SPT based on your priorities. Best wet/dry grip and handling near that price point.<ul><li><a href="http://www.tirerack.com/a.jsp?a=AR8&amp;url=/tires/index.jsp">Tires</a></li></ul>

Default Thanks, now a question on wheels

Do you carry any 14 or 15 inch wheels that can be adapted or drilled to fit a 4 by 4 pattern?
