one strong wheel stud!
After extensive archive searching, I know what I will do if the wheel is stuck to the hub- if I ever get that far!
I'm trying to remove a wheel, and have one stud that refuses to give (by hand or with air wrench)- Sprayed a rust-eater solvent into gap and will now hope for a day or two.
Any other ideas?

I use a 4' cast iron pipe over my tire iron. Any extra pipe you've got at home should work...
... just be careful you dont torque the stud right off.

Try this...
If all else fails, get a large chunk of dry ice and hold it on the stud for about 10 or 15 minutes. (Use thick gloves or a cloth) Then try loosening it. The cold makes the metal contract and hopefully break the bonds between the threads.

Coca-Cola Classic. Or this new lug remover...
It can break a stuck nut better than WD-40!
There is also a device I saw on Motorweek last weekend, called Easy Lug, that uses a second lug on your wheel for leverage. You put it on, then turn a crank, apparently until the torque built up in a spring is sufficient to break it loose. About $60.

A long pipe sounds cheaper!
