AFAIK, the ECU does not respond instantaneously to the O2 sensors.

The ECU monitors mixture via the O2 sensors (watching the voltages swing back and forth over time to get an average). Based on this feedback, a trim factor is applied to the fuel injector pulse width maps. This trim value is what we see in group 032.
