That's the code:

00576 terminal 15
27-00 - Implausible signal

Anyone have any clue?

Terminal 15 is switched power

i.e. the power that that comes on when you turn the ignition switch to the "on" position. But Dick should know this already.

I don't know exactly what conditions would cause your cluster to decide that the it's switched power input was in an implausible state.

Are there any actual symptoms of a malfunction?

Any wiring mods? Aftermarket stuff tapped in?
