Service interval help
Ok, I have searched the forums and have only found limited information. I figured out how to reset the service reminder, but I want to know how to set the next service. Where do I go, and what do I change. I have heard that you have to do some km-miles conversions, is this true?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Module 17 channel 40 (distance) & 41 (days), but I strongly recommend against messing with that.
I've been told channels 40-48 needs to be set in some specific order (not ascending or descending).

I think people usually just reset the reminder.
Don't recall anybody changing the interval themselves.
Since your car is still under warranty, you can ask the dealership to change it to the correct interval. That's what I did.
If you want an interval other than what Audi specifies, try being nice to the service technician. It should be a 1 minute job for them.

The correct order should be..
45, 42, 43, 44, 40, 41, 46, 47, 48
Save each one, even if you don't change the value in that one.

Re: What is each block for?
40: Distance since last service
41: Time since last service
42: Minimum distance between service
43: Maximum distance between service
44: Maximum time between service
45: 1 for fixed intervals, 2 for flexible.
46:- 48: factors used to calculate flexible intervals. Leave them alone.
Units of distance may vary from cluster to cluster, and *may* depend on whether the cluster is coded to show distances in miles or km. Applicable units should be visible in in the "measuring block" type data shown with each channel. For example:
OIL In 1 00 km
Means the units for that channel are 100's of km.
Ditto for time units, they can be 1 day or 10 days.
