Vag-Com Now Unlicensed?
I have the Ross-Tech HEX-USB+CAN Interface. I recently downloaded VCDS 10.6 software. Now when I try and "talk" my A6, the software says have an "unlicensed version" and will not let me make any adjustment. It also says that it cannot load the "codes.dat" when I launch. Not sure if that is why it is not being recognized as a licensed user. Of course this happens when Ross-Tech support is closed for the weekend. Any advise would be nice as my car is throwing a warning light on my adaptive light sensor. I have updated the firmware on the device from 1.81 to 1.83 successfully. Any thoughts?
