Tpms on spare tyre? on my 05 A6?
hi!
i have tpms installed from factory on my european sedan 05'/mmi high..
have my winter wheels on at moment (with pressure/temp senders)
and put one of my summer wheels in the trunk (also with sender)..
tried to initialize tyres but no spare shows up in tpms screen....
hooked up vcds and tested some different coding on adress 65 without luck
any ideas?

Not off the top of my head, no.
What's the VAG-Number of your TPMS module?
If you want us to go digging here, please make a Measuring Block map of your TPMS module. Use Method 2 on this page:

Send the map to Support[at]Ross-Tech.com and include a link to this tread as well as enough info for us to locate you in our customer records.

It looks like there are different types of TPMS systems and the C6 A6 doesn't support monitoring of the spare:

Every time wheels are changed on an A4 (B7) & A6 (C6) the “Initialize wheels” procedure must be carried out in order to learn new sensors. This is critical when driving on the spare."

yes i've seen that doc before...think it's for US market?
i think i have A "High line" version...
The A6 in doc are only "low line system" for the c6?, but i have temp and psi monitored/wheel and shown in mmi on my C6.
(that isn't listed possible on the low line systems in doc.)???
