Have never used a VAG-COM before but need to program my key on my B5
I have a 1998.5 Audi A4. I bought the car w/ only 1 key, and as I understand it, I can reprogram the key w/ either getting a second key, or using a vag-com.
I have NEVER used the VAG-COM before, but will either buy one, or borrow a friend's... how do I go about programming my key so the remote opens?
Also, I think I read it is possible to add the roll windows down + open sunroof w/ turning the key as well as auto-lock when driving over 25mph.
How do I do this? Is there a step-by-step procedure? I might have a friend w/ me, but not sure if they have ever reprogrammed a key.

It didn't work: Under adaptation 10, when i hit 01 or 21, then "read" both times it came up with
Not found or invalid, so I never got a chance to enter a "new value".
I tried 46-Central locking (35 was listed for my car on the site), but obvisouly it said "not found".
Scanning for codes it did come up w/ something like adaptation limit exceeded for remote or something along those lines...
does this mean I have to get a 2nd key???
