P117C and P3145 codes, D3 V10
Hey gang,
Was only throwing one code, the p117c, behind cat, lean condition. Changed out the sensor, but upon driving and getting the readiness all in check (about 10 minutes of driving) popped a code again, same code relating to Bank 3 (driver's side rear cat) as well as a p3145 code as well.
I have just changed the oil and air filters at the 75,000mi mark, but I admit I have been lax with putting in any Techron additive. 93 Octane fuel is run all the time.
Am I looking at a pre-cat sensor issue as well or something else like an air leak throwing off these two codes?
Address 11: Engine II Labels: Redir Fail!
Control Module Part Number: 4E0 910 552 K HW: 4E0 907 552 A

012613 - Oxygen (Lambda) Sensor B3 S1*
P3145 - 002 - Signal Implausibly Rich - MIL ON

Speed: 78.0 km/h
Temperature: 104.0°C
Temperature: 42.0°C
Absolute Pres.: 990.0 mbar
Voltage: 13.081 V
Error codes are in the Engine II management area, and I am trying to determine which sub code (32, 33) will help me determine if this is an air leak. I know I need to have the engine running to perform a leak check but am unsure which area in VCDS to check to witness the Bank 3 pre and post cat O2 sensor results.
Thanks in advance!

Well, yes, that would be my guess also. I am looking for the area in vcds, Engine II where I can watch the lambda reading while testing for leaks. I am pretty sure that it is Engine II, sub code 32, but nothing specifically tells me if I am looking at bank 3 or bank 4.

Since you are are a registered user, may I suggest that you email our support group? (It's free for registered users: support@Ross-Tech.com) Or if you prefer, also post this in our own forum?
Why? Cause our staff spends more time over there these days. I am not tech enough to know where to point you and you would get much better help direct from the tech staff. I would need access to the materials they have at their disposal to tell you where the measuring values are that you need to watch.
