Default Re: VAG-COM version? Interface vendor/supplier? What does the label on the interface say?

The vag-com version is 409, but i did try the 512. As for the interface vendor I bought the wire off of eBay... Maybe that wasn't a good idea? On the wire at the very end on the other side of the LED's there's a little sticker that says "USB KKL" thats it.

I downloaded the vag-com software and installed it, then downloaded the device driver for the wire and i thought that would be it, but yet I still have problems.

I also went into the device manager to check to the see properties of it, and its listed under COM & LPT and also USB...? is that normal? The wire's com port is com 4, when yet its a USB.. I'm so LOST!! help?

Default You obviously didn't check this FAQ

2) Questions about design and construction of home-made interfaces are Off-Topic, as are connection problems if you're using a home-made interface or a 3rd party interface.

https://forums.audiworld.com/vag/msgs/6768.phtml</a
