I have a 2013 A6 2.0T and had my Audi mechanic put some mods in today (he just bought the unit out of his own money). One that didn't work as expected was the remote key operation of the windows/sunroof. He did the mod as follows [46-Cent Conv]-[coding-07]-[long coding helper] and changed byte 2, bits 2 and 3 from 0 to 1. I read elsewhere that once this is done you go into the MMI (Car-windows-windows conv open ...) and enable the functions. When I go into my MMI there is no option for Windows in the dropdown menu for Car. Is there another setting that has to be changed to get this to work?

I tried this post in the A6 section but no one has responded so I thought that I would try here.

Look inside the first menu item under cars. It is one menu deep. I did not see it at first either.

Wasn't there. The last item on the menu is Central Lock, nothing about windows at all. Do you need to reboot the MMI?

you will need to access the hidden green menu in order to allow the function to be seen

Nowhere else has it been stated that you need to enable the hidden menu. If I enable the hidden menu, what do I do at that point?

Look inside the central locking menu. It should be in there on e enabled.
